Welcome!
We thank God for Ottawa, a city that is blessed with beauty, prosperity, stability and influence. Although far from perfect, there is much to celebrate in the progress and stature of the National Capital Region. Every day, government, business and charitable agencies work together to improve the lives of our residents and help meet needs.
We, the church, are an important part of the life of the city. With the help of God’s Spirit over many years, pastors and ministry leaders have been building relationships across church traditions and denominations in order to pursue a shared vision for the flourishing of God’s kingdom in our city. We have been seeking the Lord’s favour in united prayer for the benefit of all, both inside and outside our faith.
As a result, people and communities have been touched in practical and spiritual ways by God’s lovingkindness in the name of Jesus.
While we thank God for how far we have come, we know that he has much more he desires to accomplish in the city through his church.
Love Ottawa, as the missional arm of One Way Ministries, exists to encourage and support leaders who value prayer, unity and collaboration and have a vision for change in our city.
We believe that in order to accomplish his purposes, God often places a dream in a leader’s heart that is larger than themself or their own ministry. That special dream to impact our city requires the supernatural grace of God, as well as a team of others who share the same dream. We are here to pray with visionary leaders and assist them to build a team and seek the Lord for each step of their new initiative.
If you have a God-given dream to bring Jesus to our city and our city to Jesus, then we would love to meet with you and hear what is on your heart. We are glad to discuss and discern partnering together to help you launch a collaborative effort that brings the hope and power of the gospel to our city.
