Janice Davey

One of Janice’s strengths is organization. She tends to be the one who organizes many of the OWM events, or at least lends support to others who take on a particular event. Janice also enjoys working with our Executive Director in helping to keep him on schedule as much as possible.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Janice loves the idea of being part of a team whose mission it is to “Reach the City by Serving the Leaders”. She finds it very rewarding to know that these efforts will bring positive and Godly change to our region.
Outside of the office, Janice loves music ministry and is involved in her local church by serving on the worship team. She also enjoys hiking and scenic drives in her little sports car.
Janice is married to Paul and together they have three grown sons, three lovely daughters-in-law and several beautiful grandchildren, all of whom Janice loves dearly.
Arlene Borg
Ministry Coordinator
Arlene loves Jesus and is passionate about following after Him. Having been blessed by Him, she desires to be a blessing to others. As One Way Ministries exists to serve the leaders of the city, she loves being part of the team.
One of Arlene’s personal mottos is from Colossians 3:23-34. “Whatever the Lord gives her hand to do, to do it as unto the Lord and not for men…for she is serving the Lord Christ in her work.”
Arlene co-pastors a church with her husband, Ray, and loves being mother to her daughter, son-in-law and son as well as being Nana to her two precious grandchildren. Arlene loves to read, hang out with her family and friends, hike in the nature trails behind her house and enjoys taking pictures.

In her passionate, young-love days with Jesus, she asked him to “take her by the hand and lead her where she needs to go.” So far, He has led her to: lead Pray Ottawa; heal her inner being from perfectionism; live a celibate lifestyle full of amazing friends and family; switch to Apple.

Peter Hartgerink
Peter has had a growing hunger to know God better since surrendering his life to Jesus at age 34. He loves to spend time in the secret place (or sheltering presence) of the Most High and treasures the things the Spirit reveals in times of intimacy (Psalm 91:1, Psalm 27:5).
Peter is a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Ingrid Laroque
Ingrid has lived, worked and raised her family in Ottawa for over 30 years. She makes her home in Barrhaven with her husband Mike.
She has sought to serve Jesus by actively supporting several ministries at her local church - Woodvale and various para-church organizations.
The Lord has been gently and kindly schooling her since.
Her participation on the Pray Ottawa team is fuelled by the desire to encourage every believer in Ottawa to respond (in some way) to this call: “My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming’”.

Richard Long comes to us with over 30 years of experience in city-wide movements in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), Hamilton, and Ottawa. Richard initially came to Ottawa to serve as the Associate Director at the National House of Prayer where he ministered for 5 years.

Brent got his start in the late 1990s when he became a licensed advisor while completing his studies at the University of Ottawa business school (B.Comm, Finance). It was there that Brent realized his passion for helping others was deeply rooted within him and he went on to become a licensed discretionary Portfolio Manager. As a businessperson, Brent is excited about One Way Ministries and how its platform allows for scaling resources across many charities and for the vision of bringing love to everyone in Ottawa.

That invariably means dealing with the tax system and all that goes with it.
Bron is ecstatic to be part of the One Way team and its story. He loves being involved in all OWM has done for the City of Ottawa and the surrounding area as it supports ministries and churches coming together in a positive way to spread the Good News!
He continues to serve on boards of national and local organizations. His two passions are baseball and helping people reach their full potential, including his children. Bron also wants to share his joy of the Lord with the world and loves listening to worship music throughout the day.
