Marketplace Leaders Network
Marketplace Leaders Network gathers established Christian business owners and senior marketplace leaders in Ottawa for trusted relationships, practical discipleship, and honest conversations about following Jesus in business, leading people redemptively, and stewarding success for Kingdom impact.
Leadership pressure is not separate from discipleship. It is often where Christ forms the leader most deeply.
Business leadership is about more than performance. It is about people, culture, dignity, and faithful stewardship.
Influence, capital, creativity, and opportunity can become gifts for the flourishing of employees, churches, neighbourhoods, and the city.
1. Listen
Conversations that help leaders name the real pressures, needs, and opportunities they carry.
2. Gather
Trusted rooms for prayer, peer counsel, formation, and practical wisdom.
3. Practise
Application inside real business decisions, teams, systems, and relationships.
4. Multiply
Mature leaders mentor others, host conversations, collaborate for the city, and shape the next generation.
Making disciples means making leaders. In this fifth post of the Working the Jesus Way series, we explore how Christian leadership helps people see the larger story, carry real responsibility, and grow into maturity, courage, and shared mission.
Reflections on discipleship, leadership, business, and following Jesus in everyday work.
Making disciples means making leaders. In this fifth post of the Working the Jesus Way series, we explore how Christian leadership helps people see the larger story, carry real responsibility, and grow into maturity, courage, and shared mission.
Integrity in business begins with simple, trustworthy speech. In this fourth post of the Working the Jesus Way series, we explore Jesus’ teaching to let our yes be yes and our no be no — and how truthful words build trust in leadership, clients, teams, and everyday work.
Servant leadership does not mean disappearing, avoiding hard decisions, or carrying everyone else’s responsibilities. In this third post of the Working the Jesus Way series, we explore how Jesus uses authority—not to control people, but to help them flourish.
What if clients, employees, suppliers, and even difficult people are not interruptions to our work, but neighbours within it? In this second post of the Working the Jesus Way series, we explore how Jesus’ command to love God and love our neighbour becomes deeply practical in business, leadership, conflict, pricing, communication, and everyday work.
What if the workplace is not a distraction from discipleship, but one of the primary places Jesus intends to form us? In this first post of the Working the Jesus Way series, we explore how Christ’s call to “teach them everything I have commanded” comes alive in the ordinary realities of business, leadership, pressure, conflict, and work.
So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment. Romans 8:25 (TPT)
