Save the date for the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast – October 27th
Join us for what is becoming the civic event of the year,
with community leaders and Christians gathering from across the city,
to pray for our city, the Mayor, City Councillors and First Responders!
Why a Prayer Breakfast?
The purpose of the annual gathering called the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast is: to honour the Lord, to thank and pray for Civic Leaders and First Responders, to be a catalyst for better neighbouring by the church and city, to highlight and facilitate city/church partnerships, and to help the church in Ottawa celebrate Jesus’ presence in our different expressions of Christian Faith.
2023 OCPB Speaker
Major Jim Mercer will be the OCPB 2023 speaker. In the light of his present role as the Social Mission Officer at the Ottawa Booth Center here in Ottawa, Jim will be answering our annual OCPB question of “Who is Your Neighbour?” through the lens of his work with the vulnerable and at-risk population among us.
