The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid”\nPsalm 27:1 ESV\n\nAs we journey into summer\, it is a perfect time to take a day to lock eyes with God and to hear His voice. \n“…for it is in the silence of the heart that God speaks. God is the friend of silence – we need to listen to God because it’s not what we say but what He says to us and through us that matters….” Mother Teresa \nSpending an extended time abiding in our Lord’s presence enables us to hear the still\, quiet voice of God. When we are intentional about setting this time aside\, we gain wisdom and experience refreshment\, grace\, and release from burdens that we are carrying. And we emerge with a renewed sense of peace and joy that comes from experiencing a sense of togetherness with God. \nIf you desire to set aside the time to spend a day in reflection and listening prayer but never seem to get it in your calendar\, then the June 12th Date With God is for you!  Mark your calendar today and register! \nPlease note that this is a full day event and is limited to 24 participants.
