DESCRIPTION:Spending an extended time abiding in God’s presence enables us to hear the still\, quiet voice of God and sense the direction he has for us.\n\nWith fall just around the corner\, it seems like a perfect time to take a day to lock eyes with God and to hear His voice.\n\n“…for it is in the silence of the heart that God speaks. God is the friend of silence – we need to listen to God because it’s not what we say but what He says to us and through us that matters….” Mother Teresa\n\nSpending an extended time abiding in our Lord’s presence enables us to hear the still\, quiet voice of God. When we are intentional about setting this time aside\, we gain wisdom and experience refreshment\, grace\, and release from burdens that we are carrying. And we emerge with a renewed sense of peace and joy that comes from experiencing a sense of togetherness with God.\n\nThere is never a “convenient” time to be with the Lord. It takes discipline and courage to carve this time out. DESCRIPTION:Spending an extended time abiding in God’s presence enables us to hear the still\, quiet voice of God and sense the direction he has for us.\n\nWith summer upon us\, it seems like a perfect time to take a day to lock eyes with God and to hear His voice.\n\n“…for it is in the silence of the heart that God speaks. God is the friend of silence – we need to listen to God because it’s not what we say but what He says to us and through us that matters….” Mother Teresa\n\nSpending an extended time abiding in our Lord’s presence enables us to hear the still\, quiet voice of God. When we are intentional about setting this time aside\, we gain wisdom and experience refreshment\, grace\, and release from burdens that we are carrying. And we emerge with a renewed sense of peace and joy that comes from experiencing a sense of togetherness with God.\n\nThere is never a “convenient” time to be with the Lord. It takes discipline and courage to carve this time out. Block June 15th in your calendar and register now for this virtual Silent Retreat of listening time of prayer with the Lord\, which will be facilitated by Doug Sprunt of One Way Ministries.\n\nPlease note that this is a full-day event and is limited to 24 participants.
