Cette stratégie est appelée « Une Église – Un Jour ». \nLes églises réservent une journée du mois pour prier pour leurs membres et leur ville. We believe that the Lord is building the Church in Ottawa into a unified\, multicultural people of prayer\, and thus we seek to align ourselves to this beautiful work. \nThe desire to unify in prayer in Ottawa is a growing one. At the April 2024 Capitalize conference\, Steve and Patti Buss from the City of Eugene\, Oregon\, shared their story of how the church in their city of Eugene has united in strategic prayer to positively impact their community. It’s a strategy called “One Church\, One Day” (OCOD). \nChurches take one day per month to pray for their congregation and the city. DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast – October 28\, 2022!   \nWhy a Prayer Breakfast? \n\nThe purpose of the annual gathering called the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast is: to honour the Lord\,  to thank and pray for Civic Leaders and First Responders\, to be a catalyst for better neighbouring by the church and city\, to highlight and facilitate city/church partnerships\, and to help the church in Ottawa celebrate Jesus’ presence in our different expressions of Christian Faith. \nYou can watch our OCPB 2021 Breakfast on Youtube featuring Garth Steele. He shares how\, in his life and work\, as well as through his volunteer work in the city\, he has answered the theme question\, “Who is My Neighbour?” Garth will testify that when you say ‘Yes’ to God\, He will guide you\, provide inspiration\, and help you rise up out of your seat and start doing “stuff” for your neighbours in Jesus’ name. \nThe OCPB Committee is currently planning a breakfast 2022 and we’ll post updates on the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast Website!

SUMMARY:Prayer Summit for Pastors and Ministry Leaders
DESCRIPTION:A time away with the Lord and with Peers\nSave the date!   \nOctober 17-19\, 2022\nat Camp Iawah \nThere is great potential when the pastors and leaders from a region prioritize a healthy prayer life that includes doing it together. \nClick here to register \nOur approach at this year’s Summit will be to forego having a speaker\, in favour of a fuller prayer experience. Our facilitators will help us tend to our inner lives with the Lord through worship and contemplative practices. We won’t stop there\, but also pursue God together in petition for one another’s churches and the spiritual health of our region and beyond. \nThe setting at Camp IAWAH will surround us with the quiet fall colours to rest our souls\, and the delights of sharing meals together\, prepared for us. \nThis gathering will be for the pastoral community and leaders of Christian ministries in the National Capital Region.
