DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast – November 1st \nJoin us for what is becoming the civic event of the year\,\nwith community leaders and Christians gathering from across the city\,\nto pray for our city\, the Mayor\, City Councillors and First Responders! \nWhy a Prayer Breakfast? \n\nThe purpose of the annual gathering called the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast is: to honour the Lord\,  to thank and pray for Civic Leaders and First Responders\, to be a catalyst for better neighbouring by the church and city\, to highlight and facilitate city/church partnerships\, and to help the church in Ottawa celebrate Jesus’ presence in our different expressions of Christian Faith. \n\n2024 OCPB Speaker – Rev. Kim Sabourin \n\nKim Sabourin will be our Ottawa Prayer Breakfast 2024 speaker. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, November 21st: 12:00 – 1:30 pm\,\nOne Way Ministries\, 89 Auriga Drive \nPastors\, please RSVP to janice@onewayministries.ca today\, and save the date! \nThe Lord keeps encouraging us with progress toward the One Church – One Day (OCOD) prayer initiative! We plan to launch in January\, and we are inviting you to be part of it! \nIn OCOD\, the city is covered in prayer 24-7 as churches each take one day per month to pray for their congregation and the city. And\, strategic teams from sectors of the city such as Family\, Education\, Healthcare\, Government etc. inform their prayers through a Prayer Guide provided to them each month. \n13 churches have signed up so far and more are expected! \nYou are invited to a Pastors’ Luncheon next Thursday\, November 21\, 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at One Way Ministries\, 89 Auriga Drive. DESCRIPTION:21 novembre 2024\, 12:00 – 1:30 pm\,\nOne Way Ministries\, 89 Auriga Drive\nPour vous incrire\, cliquez sur ce lien \nNotre Seigneur Jésus a déclaré que son Église serait « une maison de prière pour tous les peuples » (Marc 11.17) en citant un passage du prophète Isaïe écrit des siècles auparavant. Nous sommes convaincus que le Seigneur bâtit son Église à Ottawa pour en faire une maison de prière habitée par un peuple multiculturel et uni. C’est pourquoi nous voulons prendre part à cette œuvre merveilleuse. \nÀ Ottawa\, le désir de s’unir dans la prière grandit. En avril 2024\, lors de la conférence Capitalyze\, Steve et Patti Buss\, de la ville d’Eugene en Oregon\, ont expliqué comment les églises d’Eugene se sont unies pour prier stratégiquement de manière à avoir une influence positive sur leur ville. Cette stratégie est appelée « Une Église – Un Jour ». \nLes églises réservent une journée du mois pour prier pour leurs membres et leur ville. Le guide mensuel de prière pour Ottawa fournit des sujets de prière qui nous aideront grandement à prier pour nos quartiers et assemblées. \nNous croyons que cette stratégie cohabiterait facilement avec les réseaux de prière qui se développent parmi les pasteurs et renforcerait le sentiment de solidarité entre les assemblées. \nVoudriez-vous en savoir plus? Votre assemblée pourrait adopter cette nouvelle stratégie pour prier dans l’unité en faveur de ses membres et de la ville. Elle ne demanderait de la part de votre Église qu’un investissement en temps réaliste et supportable. \nNotre équipe tiendra une séance d’information bilingue de 90 minutes couplée d’un repas\, à midi\, le 21 novembre 2024\, dans les locaux de One Way Ministries\, 89 Auriga Drive à Ottawa.
